Early Bird, Dub Worm

Started in late 2025, ‘Early Bird, Dub Worm’ slowly took shape as my first Bandcamp release. It is built from field recordings, dub chords, and a melodic, textural soundscape. While working on it, I became increasingly eager to explore this direction further and turn it into an album. In that sense, this track feels like a first step in that direction.

Ende 2025 nahm „Early Bird, Dub Worm“ langsam Gestalt an. Die Komposition verbindet Field Recordings, Dub-Chords und eine melodische, texturreiche Klanglandschaft.
Während der Arbeit daran wuchs in mir immer mehr der Wunsch, diese Richtung weiter zu erkunden und daraus ein Album zu entwickeln.

About

My name is Miri Berlin. I am a product designer and photographer.
In 2018, I started actively working in a new discipline – producing radio features. Some of my pieces have been broadcast on Deutschlandfunk Kultur, among others.
(It’s never too late—until it’s too late.)
In 2023, working with Ableton Live opened up a new dimension – combining my passion for field recordings with electroacoustic music. This has allowed me to further explore the sonic landscape and develop my first compositions.
