Early Bird, Dub Worm

‘Early Bird, Dub Worm’ slowly took shape as my first Bandcamp release. It is built from field recordings, dub chords, and a melodic, textural soundscape. While working on it, I became increasingly eager to explore this direction further and turn it into an album. In that sense, this track feels like a first step in that direction.

„Early Bird, Dub Worm“ ist mein erstes Stück, das ich 2026 auf Spotify und anderen Streamingplattformen veröffentlicht habe. Das Stück verbindet Field Recordings und Dub-Chords mit einer melodischen, texturreichen Klanglandschaft.

It’s where I explore combining audio with visuals.

In this video, six black-and-white photographs captured while walking through the forest unfold over the course of the track.

Monochrome Moments happen when color feels unnecessary – when a scene naturally lends itself to black and white.

About

My name is Miri Berlin. I am a product designer and photographer.
In 2018, I began producing radio features, opening up a new creative discipline. Some of my pieces have been broadcast on Deutschlandfunk Kultur, among others.

In 2023, working with Ableton Live opened up a new creative dimension: combining my passion for field recordings with electroacoustic music. This allowed me to explore sonic landscapes more deeply and develop my first compositions.

You’re welcome to check back here for updates on my latest audio and photography work, or send me a message if you’d like to stay in touch.
